Honey Buttermilk Bread

Sometimes you have special guests that you want to treat in a
special way! how about special bread for the matter?

You’ll Need:

1 envelope of yeast.
1 tsp. of sugar.
1/4 cup of warm water.
Pinch of ginger.
2 cups of warm buttermilk.
1/3 cup of honey.
1/4 cup of butter melted and cooled a bit.
1 tsp. of salt.
3/4 tsp. of baking of soda.
6 cups of white bread flour.

How to:

In a small bowl, mix together the ginger, sugar, yeast and
water and set aside for 5 minutes so that the yeast is
activated.
Add buttermilk, honey, salt and baking soda to the yeast
mixture and mix until combined.
Add in the flour and mix using an electric mixer for about 5
minutes on low until smooth.
Add in the butter and mix until incorporated.
Add the rest of the flour gradually while mixing on low.
Once the dough starts pulling from the sides of the bowl,
remove it to a floured surface and knead until smooth.
In a greased bowl, place the dough then turn it to grease the
top. Cover and let rise for 1 1/2 hours.
Punch the dough down and form two loaves. Replace the loaves
into the greased bowl, cover and let rise for another 45
minutes.
Bake the bread for 30 minutes in a preheated oven to 400
degrees. You should cover tops with foil if you see that they
brown too fast.
Remove the loaves from the oven and add a little melted
butter to the top.
Let cool for about 10 minutes before removing it from the pan
to let cool completely on a rack.
This honey buttermilk bread is so good and delicious. It’s
very easy to make and I’m sure it will make you proud.
